The 5-axis turning and milling centre DMC 125 FD duoblock offers maximal precision with the highest dynamics. Lathe work in the same axial direction can be carried out alongside drilling and milling. The traverse path of x = 1,250, y = 1,000 and z = 1,000 mm with B+C axes enables working pieces with a weight up to 1,500 kg to be processed.
Special features of the machine are the U axes and the pallet changer, which offers us transformation parallel to machining time and a high level of flexibility. The U axis is an automatically interchangeable tool system which is able to process contours in a freely positionable way in a 3D area.
