History – from the smithy to a precision company

  • 1882 The Arnskötter family takes on a small smithy in a suburb of Greven, Germany.
  • 1979 After two changes of generations, the present owner Heinrich Arnskötter takes on the engineering business.
  • 1982 Founding of the Grevener Schaltkugeln Arnskötter (GSA) on 850 s qm.
  • 1985 The first exhibition experience at the International Hannover Exhibition
  • 1990 The production building is expanded to 1,200 s qm (precision technology and engineering under one roof).
  • 1995 The production is expanded through drive engineering.
  • 2000 Certification DIN EN ISO 9001:1994
  • 2001 New factory building on the Mergenthaler Str. (2,500 s qm).
  • 2006 Innovation prize for the hall material store
  • 2007 Expansion through a 600 s qm hall for engineering
  • 2008 Expansion of the precision technology in the areas of milling technology and quality assurance
  • 2010 Exhibitioner at the International Hannover Exhibition for 25 years
